Project Runway

I have decided to do ALL of the Project Runway challenges.  Tomorrow is the first challenge- using PJ's and a sheet. This ought to be interesting.

Revamping

I found this gorgeous skirt at a local thrift store and decided I would like to wear it as a top and VOILA here is the finished product.

Simple Corset

A friend of mine bought a dress that was just a little too snug for her liking and asked me to "corset" it.  Of course, I always do what friends ask (yeah right!) so this is what she got.

Fascinating

I work at a place where I see clothes ALL the time.  Today I noticed some pants that were brought in from and old school dentist.  By old school I mean he still drives a Brady Bunch station wagon and these pants were most likely tailored in the 70's given the type of fabric used on them.

While looking at them I noticed the fine detailing put into these pants from the back pockets, pleating, the waistband even the belt loops.  I find it fascinating the amount of work put into these.  And the fact that he still has them.

What better compliment to the tailor?
